About Us

Experience 

Felice’s past work experience over the last 15 years includes: 

• Controller for a large mental health organization that included multiple corporations at play and involved complex intercompany dynamics 
• Manager of the Bookkeeping Division for an amazing accounting firm. She started as the sole bookkeeper and quickly built the department to 5 employees. Felice managed both 50+ clients and all bookkeeping employees 
• Accounting Manager for McMaster University’s Association of Part-Time Students where she was employed for many years after. 
• Several other bookkeeping and accounting jobs since she began her career in 2010 

Education

Felice’s education is unique in relation to her fellow bookkeepers. She graduated from McMaster University with an Advanced Accounting Diploma and from Mohawk College with a Diploma in Accounting. 

She graduated from both of these with honors at the top of her class. 

During her education she was enrolled in the CGA Accountancy program. Though she didn’t finish the program due to the call of motherhood, her level of education is much higher than the average bookkeeper, allowing her to understand and facilitate higher level accounting theory practices. 

Personal

In her spare time Felice enjoys spending time with her family and friends, mountain biking, kayaking, hiking, reading and music.

Experience

• Trusted accounting team member for a large mental health organization – this included high level bookkeeping between 3 separate corporations where she tackled the difficult business of tracking for each corporation and performed a vast array of intercompany transactions which tend to be complex in nature
• Bookkeeper for a local accounting firm where she gained experience across a vast number of industries and became an expert at managing deadlines and client needs for many clients that she serviced regularly.
• Tax preparer for local tax firm
• Working with various local companies to provide bookkeeping services over the years

Education

After getting a taste for the accounting world through work experience, Cassie chose to pursue more knowledge in her field. She enrolled in North Island College where she completed her office assistance diploma. After completing this level, she realized that she belonged more in the finance side of and took courses in bookkeeping, bookkeeping software and payroll, all at NIC.

Personal

When she is not working Cassie enjoys spending time with family and friends, camping, kayaking, and enjoying what nature has to offer.
